BOX: XML specifications of genomic data
 

The primary objective of BOX is to provide an open core of well-defined UML and XML specifications for the dissemination of genomic data. The first release of this core library deals with metabolic data and genome annotation data and is composed of :

  1. Models specification
  2. XML-Schema implementations
  3. Associated documentation

-  The XML Schemas: BOXml

-  BOXtk is the java toolkit associated to BOXml. It consists of a set of java applications, mostly prototypes, designed to demonstrate the use of BOXml. Its associated documentation is available on the BOX web site.

-  BOXml documentation and BOXtk applications are available at the download area of the BOX web site.
