Modeling and simulation of genetic regulatory networks

The modeling and simulation of genetic regulatory networks are currently subject to two major constraints: incomplete knowledge about biochemical reaction mechanisms and a general absence of quantitative information on kinetic parameters and molecular concentrations. We have developed a qualitative modeling and simulation method that is able to satisfy the above constraints. The method has been implemented in the computer tool Genetic Network Analyzer (GNA), and used for the analysis of various prokaryote regulatory networks.
