XRCE (Xerox Research Center Europe)
Computationnal linguistics and text mining

The Xerox Research Centre Europe is committed to inventing and designing document technologies that business both needs and wants. It pursues a vision of document technology where language, physical location and medium - electronic, paper or other - impose no barrier to effective use.

XRCE maintains a high level of competence in computational linguistics and has developped efficient software modules for natural language analysis. On the other hand, the Helix research group beneficates from a long experience in bioinformatics and knowledge modeling.

XRCE and Helix are involved in joint research activities in information extraction from texts, with a focus on genomics.
