Modeling and simulation of genetic regulatory networks

The members of the Laboratoire Adaptation et Pathogénie des Microorganismes, headed by Johannes Geiselmann, are interested in the molecular mechanisms underlying adaptation of microorganisms to their environment as well as in the regulation of gene expression and circadian rhythms in bacteria. The model organisms especially studied are Escherichia coli et Synechocystis PCC6803. The Helix group and the Laboratoire Adaptation et Pathogénie des Microorganismes are involved in several joint research projects, most notably on the modeling and simulation of genetic regulatory networks and the annotation of bacterial genomes.
